HPV Vaccine
The well-publicized HPV Vaccine bill opposing Governor Perry's Mandate was heard in the Senate Health and Human Services Committee. HB 1098 passed out of the House on March 14 and passed through the Senate H&HS Committee on April 16. It went before the full Senate for their vote, and was passed unanimously. Governor Perry received the bill, saying he would not veto it. This action, in essence, assured that the Governor's mandate would not be used in the future.
