Abortion

Texas House Representatives heard testimony through the State Affairs Committee on a number of abortion-related bills.

Texas Physicians Resource Council, along with Free Market Foundation, opposed passage of HB 301, HB 306, and HB 1760, which sought to eliminate the current requirements for informed consent. We also opposed passage of HB 3077, which provided an exception to the current consent law related to abortion.
